First, we discuss this week’s kinda barren newsscape. Then, we discuss questions that you’ve sent us… for the first time in The Lifecast’s short life span.

Thanks to those who sent us questions: Sydney Smith, Colin Barry, and Nick Rosaasen!
Heads up! We have a conversation about things that are hard to watch in media like games and movies starting at around 46:03 and ending at around 1:00:36.
Host/Producer: Deanna Minasian
Intro/Outro: Fluffing a Duck by Kevin MacLeod

Here it is, if you’re curious:

And to answer the question, I’m mostly in the same boat as Greg: I like having an ending and a 50/50 of gameplay and story (but I can look past one if the game is really good in the other–like Kingdom Hearts. Awful storytelling, incredible gameplay in most of the games), but when I find endless games (EX: Skyrim, fighting games) that I really like, I tend to put A LOT of time into them. Most recently, Stardew Valley which I’ve sunk about 100 hours into after 2 months. As for replayability, I don’t replay many games, so replayability generally isn’t a big deal for me unless it’s a game like Undertale or Zero Escape where the point of the game is to replay it–and I really like both games.
