High Seas Havoc plays very much like a Sonic clone, but it at least has an identity of its own by being about anthropomorphic pirates. It also contains some generally great level and character design and is just a fun, little platformer.
The resident wrestling fanatic of the Lifecast team, Colin W. Barry has been an avid gamer for nearly his whole life. Always having an appreciation for older and overlooked games, he always looks forward to what new franchises are being created for the next generation.
Colin got his love for writing about games thanks to websites like Hardcore Gaming 101, and developed more of an appreciation for journalism throughout college. Colin is also a huge movie and comic book nerd and does a lot of creative writing on the side, including writing movie scripts, short stories and, naturally, comic book/video game ideas.
Favorite franchises: Kirby, Castlevania, Metroid, Uncharted, Mega Man, King of Fighters, Metal Gear, Mortal Kombat, Tekken, Street Fighter, Capcom VS, Metal Slug, Samurai Shodown, Strider, Resident Evil, Fire Pro Wrestling and many, many, MANY more.
